A year has passed since the assassination of Berta Cáceres, a feminist women human rights defender of the territory and the rights of the indigenous Lenca people in Honduras.

While intellectual responsibles for her crime remain unpunished, Berta’s struggle against the imposition of DESA’s Project Agua Zarca remains in force and her colleagues at COPINH continue facing threats, criminalization and attacks of all kinds.
